Give Up Electronics for 1 Hour: Day #2

Challenge 1 – Give up electronics for 1 hour a day to putter, free think, nap, be creative, rest or do nothing.


This morning, I ate breakfast listening to something inspirational on YouTube and spent a few minutes on social media while cleaning up and transitioning into my work day. While meditating, I made a vow to myself to get my most important work done early so I could attend a Zumba class that I really love at 11 AM. The last 2 days I lulled myself into thinking I didn’t have the time when in reality, I probably wasted an equivalent amount of time on social media.


Zumba was fun and lifted my mood to get my work done and do a bunch of sorting/cleaning of jewelry that I’ve been needing to do. Noticed a drop in my social media time overall today – I did not use it when eating breakfast or dinner. Heading to bed with no social media at 10 PM with plans to read myself to sleep and get up early tomorrow😊
