Filling the Vessel

Isn't it funny how you start down a road with a plan and then life gets in the way?!

Gael and I have been going full steam ahead on SheVOLVE and then boom (SheBOOM?) we are both having various "adulting" issues that are getting in the way of our original intention.

Perhaps "getting in the way" is the wrong phrase...maybe it's better to say our journey is adjusting to fit the path in front of us. 

OR

We are doing what is needed to take care of ourselves first instead of holding ourselves to arbitrary goals that probably no one even cares about.

Earlier this week, on our typical recording day, Gael was sick and I was dealing with Hurricane Debby. Truthfully, I think Gael had it worse than I did. Mostly here, it was raining with a little wind and lightning mixed in. 

Whatever the case, neither of us was in the place to record so we skipped it. The great news is that I'd already done some interviews for a series on mindset - there are some really insightful conversations - with presenters from Gael's upcoming Massage & Spa Success Summit. Thus, we posted one of those instead of our usual broadcast and probably will again next week while we both catch our breath.

One thing I have been doing this week is creating original art. Please note this is for my pleasure, healing, and process, not for sale. However, even though I don't think of myself as an ARTIST, I am artistic and am allowing my feelings and ideas to flow. 

Yesterday, on 8/8/24, a date referred to by some as the Lion's Gate Portal, I did a drawing (infinity symbol on a receptive vessel) which symbolizes the energy of what I desire to manifest flowing to me from many sources.  

The day before, I created an image (heart in the middle)  symbolizing healing energy flowing from across the universe to a special friend who is having cancer surgery as I am writing this. 

I have a lot of other things on my "to-do" lists, including recording more podcasts with Gael. But for today, I am focused on making time for the most healing, transformative activities for me.

When my vessel is full, I'll be able to do the rest.
