SheVOLVE Episode 4: Say Yes to YOU!

SheVOLVE: Discover and embrace your hidden superpowers!


In our last episode, we talked about being more mindful of the negative words we say to others and ourselves. While we both "fell off the wagon" a little bit in our intentionality on this practice, today we discuss a bit about how every day is ripe with opportunities for us to look at the way we think about and react to the situations we encounter.

 

In regards to saying yes to ourselves, it can be challenging. Whether we get in our own way through negative self-talk, the demands of others, or other excuses, we too often put off or fail to do the things we really want to.

 

If this sounds like you, you may want to consider asking yourself a few questions when you get into an internal tug-of-war:

  • What are the good things that can come from doing this activity?

  • How am I going to feel about myself tomorrow if I do this activity?

  • What about if I don't do it?

  • Is there a way I can do this activity and overcome or accommodate the factors I'm concerned about?


Our goal is to say YES to ourselves more often while working to understand and grow through the things that previously held us back. Please join us because it is time to say SheVOLVE and say yes to YOU!
