Love, Joy, Hope & Healing

Happy New Year!
I hope you've found the last few weeks to be a gentle start to the winter season and a satisfying end to the new year. For me, it has been an odd blend of intense bursts of time with friends smashed in between periods of intense work and blocks of nothingness. I've decided I prefer more structure rather than less and am aiming to add more structure to 2025.
One of the end-of-the-year highlights was appearing as the keynote speaker (along with The Dream Team Ducks) at the Laughter is Medicine Festival put on by MT Banquets in mid-December. As a part of the heartfelt mix of holiday fun, peer recognition, and inspirational stories, I started by leading the group in a fun laughter yoga exercise (with surprise backup singers) which is a perfect mood booster any time of year. Then in my keynote address, Quacking Up, I shared five life lessons I learned during the pandemic by racing rubber ducks in my backyard creek. We had a lot of fun!
Before and since then, I've spent a lot of time working on my own healing process. Among other things, this has involved doing a lot of journaling, meditation, and art. I've taken a number of classes over the last few months (sound healing, Reiki, yoga training, and multiple styles of art.) Suddenly I am finding new ways to think about, process, and move through my own blocks and pain from the past. The piece at the top of this post is one of the products of that process - and is infused with some of my 2025 intentions.Â
I plan to begin sharing more of the tools that have been the most helpful very soon.
In the meantime, as a part of my acting on intentions for 2025, if your business, event, professional association, or organization is looking for a keynote or workshop speaker; podcast guest; or emcee/facilitator, please reach out to me here with your contact information, dates and needs. The Dream Team Ducks and I would love to add you to our event calendar.
Wishing you abundance and happiness in 2025!
